All daily checks capable of being carried out at a grouped service point at ground level     upgrade
Engine bay and on board controls to be adequately lit for servicing with options to switch on or off
All service points to be adequately lit and switched from ground level     upgrade
Refuelling from ground level
Refuelling point fiitted with formula 1 type fast fill and connection point, such as Wiggins/Banlow type
Machines to be fitted with an autolube system or extended lines so that grease nipples can be accessible from the ground or a safe working platform for all greasing points
All lubricant filters to have a common location (filter bank) for ease of access/maintenance
Machine fitted with a facility to remove oils to enclosed containers to prevent an inadvertant spillage
All guards and maintence hatches must be hinged or sized so as to be removed or handled safely by one person or where this is not practicable to be clearly marked with the weight and warning sign that more than one person would be required
Guards or maintenance hatches where hinged shall be designed such that once opened they can be retained in the open position and require positive pressure to close, i.e. they can not slam shut unexpectedly
All guards and maintence hatches where there is a risk of injury must be fixed by a mechanisum that requires a tool to undo them i.e. no sliding bolts or butterfly nuts etc
All conveyors shall be guarded in accordance with BS7300 Safeguarding of the hazard points on troughed belt conveyors

NATO slave start system fitted to batteries to reduce the risk of fire and explosion during jumpstarting accessible from ground level or safe working platform, supplied in either 12v or 24v as defined by customer
All material transfer points to be covered in a wear resitant noise reducing material
Wear resitant noise reducing material to be suitably sized to reduce manual handling risks if it can't be readily accessed by a mechanical handling device
Crusher liner plates to be of a common size with external mounting bolts
Crusher liners to be suitably sized to reduce manual handling risks if it can't be readily accessed by a mechanical handling device
