Electric cable theft
INCIDENT DETAILS
Steel container broken into housing electrical switch gear, 4 core electric cables cut, site telehandler then used to pull the cable out of the ground and remove to field opposite the site entrance, bursting through boundary fence with on site telehandler. 60mt in total stolen.
Telehandler was left in field undamaged.
POLICE REACTION
DNA samples taken from telehandler.
HEALTH AND SAFETY IMPLICATIONS
Site is generator driven, so no threat to safety.
