To reduce the number of injuries resulting from incorrect deployment of safety lines at road work sites, Foster Yeoman has developed a new policy for their use.
In the absence of a national standard on the use of safety lines, the company sourced a 25mm wide highly visible nylon tape, which is wound round the top of the cone and then back wound from the other
direction to lock off the tape. This prevents the entire length of tape unravelling should it become broken. |
