Following regular and repeated non-compliance with site safety rules, the site management at Brayford Quarry contacted Nuneaton Signs to produce the sign shown below. The large sign clearly displays the site safety requirement (in this case PPE) and communicates the penalty for not adhering to the site rules. This is displayed at the entrance to the quarry adjacent to the site ticket office and weighbridge.
The sign was developed further to allow other site rule requirements to be displayed and keep messages fresh or focus on hot topic areas. The sign is now used at sites throughout the area. The “Ban from Hanson Sites” is down to the discretion of the manager and is communicated locally to applicable sites.
